The property is a little remote but so lovely once we had arrived. We were welcomed with a cup of tea, wonderful, and a rest out in the garden before being shown our room. Room was very big, clean, comfortable and quiet. We had requested a simple meal which had been cooked to perfection and was more than enough for us. We sat out on the small patio just outside our room and chatted with the host until quite late into the evening. Views across the fields were very serene. If we are that way again then we would certainly see if there was availability.

Everything was great! Tony and Lisa are so nice and funny. The food was just delicious, bedrooms really nice and super clean. The premises are just fantastic for kids. Tony shared his passion for falconery with us and it was just a real nice surprise, kids and parents really enjoyed! Our very short stay was therefore wonderful and for sure we'll come back if we are again in the area!

Very easy to find. Had a great welcome from Dean and Jo on arrival and were shown to our fabulous room. We immediately felt at home with tea and coffee making facilities too. This was a welcome sight after a few hours in the car. We sat on the chairs provided at the front of our room listening to the birds and watching the red squirrels playing in the woods opposite by the river… sheer bliss! We both had a wonderful sleep, the bed, duvet and pillows were very comfy. The bathroom and shower are beautifully finished and were perfect for all our needs. We had a lovely continental breakfast that was delivered at the time we requested just outside the inner bedroom door. It set us up for the day nicely. On leaving Jo kindly showed us around the yoga studio and the back garden where further works are continuing to extend the chambre d’hôte business. A lovely stay and would highly recommend anyone to stay here for a lovely warm welcoming and comfortable stay.
