Very friendly, generous and delightful host. Charming, well behaved and noble Boxer dog. Superb and very plentiful breakfast. Quiet bedroom and comfortable bed. Excellent shower. Sadly the weather was too cold to relax in the spacious swimming pool.

We loved everything about this Chateau. The room was large, beautiful and had excellent views. There is a lovely garden with a pool. The have a communal room on the same floor as the bedrooms would be very useful if you are staying for a few days or are unlucky with the weather. The host was very friendly and welcoming. The parking is a bonus.

We stayed in the medieval donjon in Chambre Jaune which was spacious and has windows overlooking the moat.
In the evening we were free to walk around the walled garden and visit the restored pigonnier and pavilion.
We brought a picnic supper and ate at a garden table.
Breakfast was an additional cost and was plentiful. After breakfast we were kindly given a tour around the chateau.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Beautiful restored 19th century Manoir! In Centre of town, 2nd floor guest rooms are lovely with shared lounge and kitchen, really useful for freezing ice blocks and chilling food! Family live on 1st floor, ground floor nice breakfast room and lounge. Lovely garden with swimming pool, private garage space.

The hotel is easy to find just off a busy roundabout and has ample free parking available. The staff are friendly and speak reasonable English. The rooms are quiet, comfortable, and well appointed. The restaurant serves good quality food at a reasonable price.

Just outside the town of Parthenay, this Auberge is in a quiet location. The owners were friendly and the room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was also clean. The little kitchenette (part of the bedroom/living room) was reasonably well-equipped.
The owners were happy for me to store my bicycle in one of their storage sheds.
