We were welcomed by a very friendly older couple. Breakfast was well attended and everything one could wish for. Unfortunately it was raining so we could not enjoy their lovely huge garden!! Their home is pretty comfy. All clean and you have full privacy. For dinner a 10' drive with the car is certainly worth.

Wonderful property in Recloses, with all we needed for a comfortable stay. Great location, and a well appointed apartment. We really liked the furniture and furnishings, and the maps / general info about the Fontainebleau area were really useful, too. The instructions on how to operate the sofabed were also greatly appreciated! We really enjoyed our visit, thank you! :-)

We found this Chambre d'hôtes de l'écluse d'Episy near Fontainebleau south of Paris. It is quite small: a converted garage, but big enough for the two of us. There is a jacuzzi which unfortunately we didn’t have time to use but it looked lovely. We easily drove into Fontainebleau for dinner.

Near shops, restaurants and the railway station which is extra handy.
The flat is very clean , spacious and well equipped with everything you need to have a great stay. The host also provided toiletries and extra towels and extra toilet paper, washing up liquid, etc, little things that make a big difference.
The bed was very comfortable, not too soft and not too hard.
