Driving to the B&B along the river was lovely. Philippe is the perfect, welcoming host. His pre and on-site information is very helpful for being in Poitiers. The building has been restored to a high standard with obvious pride and attention to detail. The garden and falaises in the back are beautiful and captivating. Breakfast was spectacular and presented in such an aesthetically way. We felt privileged to stay here and met other travelers who felt the same. Highly recommended. Received a warm welcome from Marie and her husband who were most helpful thoughout my stay. My bicycle was safely stored at the property and is ideal if travelling by bicycle. There is parking outside the property which is situated near the river and from there its a nice walk up into the centre of Poitiers. Breakfast was excellent and you have full use of the kitchen and its facilities.
