We found and booked this online and one is never sure what you will find when you arrive. This was out in the country. When we drove onto the property it was what one hoped for, a French country house. Our hostess was so friendly even though we did not speak French. She made a dinner reservation for us in the nearest town, which we appreciated.

I rented one of the studio apartments for two weeks while taking classes at UCO. I liked the location, near enough to UCO to walk to classes each day, plus the neighborhood has some great shops, especially the bakeries. My studio had a kitchenette, so I didn't get to taste Sophie's much touted breakfast, but I was glad I had the option to make my own coffee and grab various creations from the local Boulangerie. It's a family run operation, and I found the owners to be friendly and extremely helpful with regard to transportation and various traveler needs. Knowing the owners were there to help and provide helpful and welcoming greetings made it feel like a home away from home.
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.
