Awesome hosts, beautiful building at the foot of the mountain. It is really in the middle of nowhere, quiet, peaceful with breath-taking views of the valley. The outside was well lit at night. There are some farm animals and nice swimming pool.
The bed was comfortable, had hot water, small frigde, good wifi internet connection and the breakfast was good with home prepared fresh fruits. Freshly brewed Rooibos tea was offered.

It’s a family guesthouse. Very warm host. The “table d’hôte” (dinner) was fabulous. Very nice company too among the guests, some of whom, who are regular, confirmed this is a tradition at l’Estapade. A place that makes you feel like at home, away from home.

Our hostess was superb. We arrived late at night by motorcycle (make sure your gps is working, especially at night in the rain, as the property is off the highway in a rural area)) and she met us at the gate, showed us where to park, and showed us our room. It far surpassed our expectations. The beds were comfortable, the finishes and furnishings look brand new, and the building is beautiful.

Our room consisted of a refurbished shack, or "remise", in the beautiful garden of the house, located in a residential neighborhood not far from the town center (about 15 minutes walk). We stayed for one night. (The other room is the "roulotte", an old-fashioned trailer, also located in the garden.)
Lovely breakfast with delicious homemade marmelades. The host, Dominique, is friendly and pays attention to detail.
