Be prepared for other guests in the living area. I liked it very much for the two weeks I’ve been there. But there were some people that immediately ran to their room and were hiding from other guests. Have a chat with everyone, I bet nobody will bite you. Also the free parking was pretty good, and the host is super friendly.

Everything. Jerome was very attentive and helpful with advice. He also looked after us with enjoying and appetising breakfasts. An added bonus was that one of the guest house dogs knows the mountains very well and is always keen to explore them once again. Jerome is very happy to offer a "borrow my doggy" service to competent hill walkers who stay at the guest house. Fellow, that is the dog's name, even has a GPS tag on him, so that is a useful safety feature for those out walking with Fellow for the day. Fellow looks after himself, whilst keeping an eye on you at all times, and he is better at hiking, and even scrambling, than you will ever be. :-)

This is a lovely, large, one bedroomed, ground floor apartment in St Egreve - in a really quiet little cu-de-sac.
The kitchen, dining room, blends into a very comfortable area in which to watch TV and the bedroom is at the rear, overlooking the woods - very quiet.
Its also just a short walk to the tram stop, that will take you directly into Grenoble! Which is such a better idea than trying to battle the traffic and parking.
