Sandra made us very welcome to her beautifully appointed B&B. The house is a combination of an old French manor house and very modern facilities. The breakfast room is in an amazing country kitchen and the breakfast itself is simple but superb. Views from the very spacious bedrooms are stunning.

This charming chambre d'hote is tucked away up a steep forested hill above the Lot river valley. Run by a private host who raises her own chickens, grows her own vegetables, and cooks delicious French-country-cooking meals. It is far from any town, but host will pick you up in her car if you're on foot. Communication is in French: she is very friendly in coping with language barrier. Lovely shaded outside terrace for meals, lounging around in hot weather.
