Great location, for both champagne tastings and walking the canal. When I booked it didn't really explain your in someones home using their kitchen. No private entrance. To get to the pool you go thru their home. While the pool is nice, the picture is better then it is. Unstable ground and hasn't been cleaned in awhile. While this was bare bones, Oliver was kind to let us get some coffee and croissants which was very appreciated.

We were lucky to book a room at the last minute in this beautiful manor. The proprietess was enthusiastic and so helpful. The beauty of the dining room and view actually brought tears to my eyes. I thought I had died and gone to Jane Austen heaven! Our room was huge and overlooked the yard, a small pond with trees, the vineyards and valley. We were served a lovely, substantial breakfast outdoors the first morning and inside the dining room the second morning. We couldn't have asked for a more lovely location or attentive staff. We will definitely make a return trip!
