The whole hotel is energy-neutral and CO2 aware, very environmentally friendly. We were very happy with free charger to use for our electric vehicle. I arrived at the hotel at 21:30 as i wanted to book a hotel with a restaurant and bar! I was greeted by a very rude member of staff who muttered at me in German! I am not fluent in German and we she took my payment, gave me the key and pointed up the stairs! When i asked if i could book a simple meal and get a drink i was told the bar and restaurant was closed despite the fact it states that they are open until 22:00 hrs. The room was very basic also! I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

Very friendly and hospitable, dog friendly, and very relaxed with a boutique, personal service kind of vibe. The manager was friendly and helpful and made my two whippets very very welcome which is lovely when travelling. After arriving after a long drive we sat outside for some food at the restaurant and whilst waiting to be brought menu's, they arrived with two cushions for our seats - without asking for them. Everything was very clean, food and drink was very nice. Good continental breakfast buffet. Lovely picturesque location, very close to the motorway and the guest house itself was a very pretty. When asking the manager for things - nothing was a bother which was amazing considering he looked extremely busy and took the time to explain the menu etc. I would highly recommend if you want a relaxing, chilled place to stay with lots of picturesque outdoors space.
