The property is located a mile or so outside of the small town of Adelboden. While this is quiet and characterful it is not ideal for walking along the minor road into town though due to it’s narrowness making encounters with cars, tractors, etc quite interesting but there is a regular free bus that stops at the end of the driveway of the property.

I stayed here for one night whilst cycling up the valley (on the steep but beautiful Alte Strasse) and then over the Hahnenmoos Pass the following day.

Apart from the obvious — the incredible location, landscape and historical surroundings — Ruedihus made sure to be extra generous with all kinds of free treats: chocolates, water, an abundant breakfast, tea and cake, and access to a really good wellness area with different kinds of saunas. Amazing location, beautiful views in the summer (we were in the studio). Lovely Swiss quaint village vibes. Very clean, had all the facilities, spacious studio with a nice kitchenette and a terrace (shared with the owners). 15 min bus from Gstaad (once every hour). Bus stop is literally right outside the B&B. Great stay to explore Launen (which we felt was very underrated), Gstaad and Saanen. There is a nice little shop in the village, about 3 mins walk from the B&B. The owner, Karen, is SUPER helpful and offered to pick us up from Gstaad as we had luggage. All in all, lovely location, great facilities, sweetest owners.

This stay was probably one of the best accommodations we've ever had! The host Juerg is an amazing and interesting person! We had the pleasure to chat with him every morning and evening! Delicious and varied breakfast with local and organic food, and he offered us veggies from his own garden. We asked for a high chair for our little one, and although he didn't have it, he went to town to buy one for us! Couldn't ask for more...ah..almost forgot...a stunning mountain view from the terrace! 100% recommended!!!
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
The staff were friendly, excellent facilities and great location in the centre of the village. Cablecar pass was included in the package and was a great bonus. Breakfast was good. All continental. Had evening meal one night, food was delicious.
It was a simple room but very charming made, clean and with a nice view. Really something to calm down and feel good. The dinner and breakfast were exceptionaly good.
Great location in the city. The room was comfortable with a large bathroom. We arrived with motorbike during raining and the owner prepared heated accomodation. Free and safe parking available in the garage. Very nice accomodation, very good value. The best choice if you stay in Adelboden.

A small and charming boutique hotel. Renovated about two years ago. We stayed in the corner room from which the view is the most beautiful. the room was clean and polished. Nice breakfast and very kind and helpful staff. Kristin was especially helpful in the mornings.
If you're looking for a quiet, peaceful place, Anno Domini is the perfect choice.
Also close to the bus station if you want to get to city center easily. Or you can just walk and enjoy the spectacular view.

Tastefully designed boutique hotel. Very good location, central but quiet and with absolutely fantastic view from the balcony/terrace. Generous and super-tasty breakfast. Interesting restaurant by dinner. Very good SPA with decent sauna and steam-bath, heated swimming pool indoors and another one with bubbles outside. The staff was attentive and nice. It is a bit expensive but it worth it. Highly recommended!
