The house was gorgeous. It had the old feel but it was recently renovated so everything was in good condition. The rooms were all pretty with great views and private bathrooms. We got recommendations from the owners on what to visit, where to eat, etc.

This is what a bed and breakfast is meant to be like. We immediately felt like we were personal guests of Desi and Daphne in their home. A comfy bed in a cozy room, great breakfast cooked to order, delightful conversations, and the extraordinary location we expected. You have got to see how they totally renovated this old sea captains house into the gorgeous home it is now. Truly a labor of love. And make sure you check out the sandpipers at the nearby Shepody national Wildlife area! What's not to like.

It was quick and easy to communicate with the host prior to arrival. They made check in easy, and provided us with a fridge full of food so we could prepare our own breakfasts. We loved that they included some special touches for our daughter. The location was clean and quiet and easy to find. We stayed for 2 nights, and the proximity to activities such as horseback riding and Hopewell Rocks was wonderful. We would definitely stay here again if we find ourselves back in the area.
