We selected Baddeck as the starting point to visit Cape Breton and Cabot Trail. The town is located on Bras d'Or lake. The hosts, Jan & Glen, are very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable about the area, sharing useful info about activities and places to see. The Alexander Graham Bell museum is a must; one will discover many interesting facts about Bell's life and achievements.
The property is charming and quite easy to find. The room we picked (#1) is small was, but still comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was delicious. I would highly recommend this B&B.

A beautifully maintained grand old house in the center of the charming town of Baddeck, walkable to restaurants and other facilities. Our room had a pedestal sink in the bedroom with separate closet for shower and toilet. I thought I had left an item behind when I checked out, and the staff searched for it thoroughly. This is a friendly space in a friendly place with bundles of ambience. I found it quiet and restful even though it's on the main street.
Very nice and quaint hotel in a great location. Baddeck is a very nice small town with nice people. The food at the restaurant here is phenomenal, I highly recommend reserving dinner in advance to get it.
Great location between the highway and the bay -- convenience with a view, and surprisingly very quiet. Very comfortable bed, blackout blinds, lots of hot water and strong pressure in the shower, plus a large bar fridge with a freezer large enough to refreeze all our cooler packs. I also appreciated the electric kettle and full sized coffee maker over the disposable pod coffee & tea -- tastes better and less waste. Very kind and helpful owners made us feel at home and gave us lots of tips for the area.
The view is incredible. Small, quaint motel. Super owners - very personable. Really comfortable bed. Great location just off the highway and at the start of the Cabot Trail.
quaint inn with great location, view of harbour, close to restaurants in town. our room had a balcony overlooking harbour. lots of parking. comfortable room. staff at reception was very helpful. restaurant at inn was closed but we were provided with a voucher for excellent nearby restaurant for breakfast.
The room was a good size and had lots of windows, we really enjoyed the fireplace after we went to a nearby store to purchase some wood, it was quiet as we seemed like the only guests that were in that part of the hotel, great location close to the village and amenities
