I had a nice, clean room with a big bathroom and comfortable beds. The breakfast was served in the family room and was very delicious with lots of home made jams and bread. The parking area is in the back of the house, but the wonderful owners let me park my motorcycle in an adjacent building so it stayed nice and dry overnight. What makes this place stand out though, are the owners of the place. Very welcoming, friendly and helpful. I can definitely recommend Le Castillon.

Marie was very accommodating and friendly. There is a safe place at the property to park your car or motorbike. The room was very clean. Good facilities. We were hoping that nobody else was staying as it's a shared bathroom. There was an other couple there, but bathroom times did not seem to be a problem. For the evening meal, you can walk about 10mins to get into the Binche High Street. Marie had suggested La Trattoria. Amazing Italian restaurant (separate review). The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was really good with Marie doing 'faits maison' mini breads, pancakes and jam. They were lovely! There was a very small issue with not being able to pay by card for the breakfasts, and due to different banking systems in England, we had to get some cash first, but this was all settled without any problem. Lovely house, lovely food, great host. If we were ever in the neighbourhood again, would definitely consider staying there again (but would take a few euros, just in case 🙂).

The house was full of character . Lovely tiled floor and wooden panels/ stairs owners were lovely they clearly love what they are doing. We had breakfast in the garden .

Good location for access to the highway, free and large parking. The place is quiet and peaceful. The hotel has a restaurant where you can not only have breakfast but also dinner, with a good selection of dishes and quality. There is a free gym.
Spotlessly clean quiet hotel and room. Staff very nice and speak very good English. Situated just outside the main time so we had to drive to get a meal even though their restaurant on site was open(dishes not to our taste). Looks like they are refurbing the adjacent restaurant next door but wasnt open when we were here.Breakfast was excellent plenty of choice.

Clean. Very comfortable. Great location for a stop over. The guy on reception- Maxime I think - was excellent. The restaurant around the back was unexpectedly good. My partner had a fabulous steak. Recommended.
Great stopover just off the motorway. Despite being close to the motorway it was remarkably quiet in the hotel and rooms. The adjacent restaurant, a relais routiere, served excellent food. Room was spacious and comfortable and we had an excellent night’s sleep.
Great central location in the town. My room was clean, spacious and nice and quiet at the back of the hotel. The bed was comfortable and I had a great nights sleep. The restaurant next door was also great for a quick informal dinner with plenty to choose from on the menu. The hotel was less than 10 minutes walk from the rail station
I have been to this accommodation several times and it has always met all my expectations. Very peaceful, quiet place with friendly staff and excellent breakfast. The unique technical attraction of Strepy Thieu boat lift is about 2 km away by walking along the canal, it is definitely worth to visit.
