The property is a stunning apartment. It has been beautifully renovated. It is well equipped with high quality furnishings and equipment. The central location and parking are great. There are stairs or a lift to the apartment which is on the second and third floors.
There is a good information book left by the owner which is useful. There is a great restaurant next door but you need to book. There is also a bakery across the street. Although it is on a street with trams passing below they don’t wake you up as you sleep on the third floor and they seem to stop overnight.

The accommodation was very close to the station and it was situated in a quiet street. Fran and Maarten, the owners, were extremely helpful and friendly. Plus, breakfast was superb in their own café! The rooms were large, light and airy with our own separate little sitting room..

A unique B and B in a great location, 5 minutes from the old city centre. Each room is themed after different cities or cultures and offers very spacious accommodation. If you like a private jacuzzi, ask for the Shanghai room, complete with Moongate and Laughing Buddha. Well-decorated and comfortable room located close to the city centre. The giant bed was a great relaxation moment and the spacious room provided comfort. I did not have breakfast but the common room is cosy and also well-decorated. We could leave our luggage safely and without extra cost. Big windows and, although the room was on the ground floor and facing the street, we had a quiet stay there. Fred was a great host and we felt welcomed
The studio has all the facilities needed for a short stay. This can be helpful to save money as Gent is not a cheap city. The location was quiet and safe. The walk along the canal into the city centre is beautiful and has a few bars.
