I did not stay for breakfast as I had an 8am appointment in Cairns. I did however have a delicious dinner the night before and an interesting conversation with the owner Blanche, a widely travelled and entertaining French woman. Next time I stay on the Atherton Tableland it will be here.

Definitely a relaxing retreat, immersed in nature away from the bustle. Fireplace was loaded with wood ready to get toasty. Freshly made bread and fruit platter awaited us. There was a spa bath on the back deck (didn’t use, but would have been superb, as you look out onto the tops of trees). Service was excellent - Lachlan was very nice to deal with.

The gardens were managed really well, beautiful. The room was acceptional, very spacious. And the decor was lovely, would recommend and will stay again.

The location was great close to town but far enough out to feel like you are isolated. Very homey and welcoming feel. Breakfast options were great too.

Spacious and well equiped. There is a little bit of road noise but it's only noticable because the area is so quiet and it did not affect our enjoyment.
Kitchen well equiped with complementary milk, eggs, bread and wine.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
The property provided everything we had hoped for, and more. We have stayed in many different properties around the world but overall, this would have to be up with the best. Great communication from Sarah throughout, spotlessly clean, handy to town, secure garage parking (!), fresh flowers, garden herbs, washing machine, very quiet, lovely mountain views, extremely comfortable beds with lovely linen………the list goes on!
We liked the personal touch of the owner and excellent breakfasts. The location was quiet and the room was very clean and generally comfortable. Good value for money too.
Comfortable, clean room. Friendly staff. Good location. Quiet and private rooms - easy to forget you are staying above a pub. Delicious food in the bistro with a discount for house guests. Housekeeping did a great job. We went out one day and when we came back a microwave had appeared in our room. Housekeeping must have seen our microwave popcorn packets and decided that we needed a microwave to enjoy it and we did.
Great location, friendly and easy going staff. The room was quiet and cosy which was great. The kitchen had everything we needed for an overnight stay. The curtains in master bedroom were pretty dusty but it was okay for one night. The staff were helpful and provided us with some great dinner recommendations and the parking was easy and included in the room.
