The location right near an amazing beach, the comfy and clean room with a little balcony, the use of bicycles to ride around the lagoon, the maps and information about the area, the attention to every detail, and the absolutely amazing and generous breakfasts and dinner (try the clams!) were only a few of the highlights, but absolutely the biggest reason why we loved our stay here was because the young couple who owns and runs this lovely place are simply amazing! They are both so kind, friendly, helpful, patient and generous. They are also super interesting and interested. Their love of their local area and products and of the family history behind O Violas is so apparent and infectious. We highly, highly recommend this guesthouse for at least two nights for people who want to experience true Portuguese hospitality at its finest!
