The centre of Playa Larga is just 5 minutes’ walk from the hotel. Playa Canoa Beach is less than 500 metres away. Gerald’s Hotel was excellent!! Everything we needed for a short break away ,the breakfast was continental style ,fresh fruit followed by eggs (done as you wanted)toast ,butter and jam ,we loved the homemade bread , also juice coffee and tea , enough to set you up for the day . The room was very nice if simple ,but you needed no more .The staff were very friendly and on hand if you needed anything . We hired a golf cart for 1 day ,Gerald arranged this for us . We wished we had stayed longer ,and will definitely return .

Towels and bed linen are provided in the holiday home. The property has an outdoor dining area. It’s a nice house. Each bedroom has it’s own bathroom. Kitchen has everything you need. Nice terrace in the back part of the house. We got lemon from a tree in the patio. The owner was very kind and pay us the transportation to the port. Good value compared to other places in Contadora. I can recommend it and might stay here next time.

The closest beach to the house is Playa Ejecutiva, a 10-minute walk away or less than 5 minutes by golf cart. Playa Cacique beach can also be reached in a 10-minute walk.

The property offers free parking and also offers affordable golf cart rental. The Contadora Island Airstrip is 1.5 km away. This place was fantastic. The woman running it (Nicola) was so friendly & welcoming—she helped us set up a snorkeling trip and even took me to the local clinic when I got a bunch of sand in my eye and had to have it cleaned out (which was free!). The room was great-private patio, fridge & big bathroom with a huge shower that was always hot. Fresh breakfast every day (coffee, amazing fruit salad, toast & egg dish). We were there for the annual skydiving event & had friends staying other places—it sounds like we definitely had the best hotel experience.
