In the neighbourhood guests can try horse-riding or take a horse-drawn carriage ride. The public beach is 15 minutes away on foot. Lavender House Visitor Centre is 5 minutes away and István Bujtor Open-Air Stage is 3 minutes away. Őrtorony viewpoint and the vineyard of Tihany are easily accessible on foot, bicycle or horse-back. This might have been the best stay in a long time. The place is extremely charming and picturesque. The authentic 1830s buildings, the interiors with very thoughtfully picked up furniture and decorations - all created a wonderful atmosphere. The breakfast was amazing - really good variety and tasty. The staff are very friendly and ready to help. The shower in the room worked excellent and the bed very comfortable. Netflix in the room as well. Highly recommend for your stay at lake Balaton. I didn’t want to leave this peaceful and beautiful place. Will come back if I have a chance!

The hotel has a restaurant with super-friendly and nice staff. The receptionist I had a few Qs didn't speak English much, more like saying 'yes' or 'no'. A beach was literally in 3" walk. The water in the lake was super-good.
