Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time at Casa Maya, it was a perfect location for my boys (8 & 10) to become fully immersed in experiencing what Rio Dulce had to offer - they enjoyed kayaking, fishing, swimming and relaxing on the hammocks.

This special location upriver from the village and bridge gives the pleasure of clean water for swimming in the deliciously reviving Rio Dulce. What did we like? All of it! The rooms are tastefully decorated. They were very comfy, despite being in the middle of nature. Attentive staff, picked us up to and fro Rio Dulce. Good food, cold beers. Very refreshing to be able to jump in the river when hot!

We had a fantastic stay at Livingston Resort Hotel. We arrived by lancha, which was super nice. We were welcomed by Noemi, who is a super nice and helpful host. She is great! She helped us with everything: tours and activities for the day, looking for shuttle services, even booking a hotel in Quiriguá for the next day (which seemed almost impossible). Also the other staff members are so nice! The hotel has perfect location, along the seaside, with a great swimming pool too. Our room had a view on the beach, which was great. The rooms are nice and clean, with AC. There is also good restaurant, which is open all day, with view on the beach. I certainly recommend Livingston Resort Hotel!

We also loved our view on the large balcony. The hotel restaurant is outstanding, excellent food with a beautiful view of the ocean and surrounding mountains. We would definitely recommend to others looking to stay in the area.
