Ribera Rio Dulce Beach is a few steps from the lodge. This part of the river is beautiful. It is a simple but well-maintained property. The bathrooms are very nice and the bed was comfortable. The food was amazing and Marta, Harrison and her family gave us a tremendous vacation.  they helped us make travel plans on word and provided boat trips to all of the places we wanted to take a look at. Great communications prior to our trip and getting us here. Great communications with our driver- no way I could’ve been happier.

The remote location was is such a beautiful, peaceful place to recharge my soul. Exactly what I needed. Luis was an awe-mazing host and went above and beyond the call of duty. Food was excellent. I am vegetarian and Victor the chef made some simple and delicious healthy meals! My cabana was great with a beautiful view of the river and a super cool outdoor shower built into the rocks that I absolutely loved. There was no hot water but it was hot outside and the shower was refreshing. The beds are not the most comfortable but the sounds of the jungle quickly lulled me to sleep. You can hear the boats in the morning but I'm an early riser so that didn't really affect me. Despite being so remote there are lots of activities on offer. The kayak ride to Livingston through the lush canyon with an abundance of bird life is just stunning and the waterfalls nearby was also gorgeous. Not a lot of water at the time but the walk along the river was gorgeous and you can swim in the basin! I enjoyed my time very much and highly recommend to anyone looking for a tranquil getaway!!!

In the Rio Dulce river near a 16th century castle the Tortugal Boutique River Lodge peninsula is bathed by almost constant on shore breezes providing a cool and refreshing place.

This special location upriver from the village and bridge gives the pleasure of clean water for swimming in the deliciously reviving Rio Dulce. Exceptional stay and 100% recommended. Staff are excellent - Angela, the host, allowed me to change the dates I had booked without any trouble and Rudy, another staff member, organised my tour to Livingston and transport to Lanquin on short notice. The lodge is also wonderful, with the bungalow being the perfect place to relax and enjoy your stay in the jungle. Whilst the lodge is a bit far from the centre, it makes for a really nice walk or, alternatively, the staff will arrange for a boat trip that takes only a few minutes and is completely free.

All rooms have a double bedroom upstairs and a sitting area downstairs. Rooms have river or garden views. Certain rooms have terraces with hammocks where you can relax in privacy. Every room comes with a private or shared bathroom. El Hotelito Perdido features free WiFi . The nature around was just stunning.. The host was really kind and helpful! Everything was comfortable and clean. Super recommended. Really eco-friendly structure!

Livingston Resort Hotel has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Lívingston. Located around a few steps from North Livingston Beach, the hotel with free WiFi is also 1.4 km away from Capitania Beach. Some units at the property feature a patio with pool view. The pool was amazing and has heating, allowing you to enjoy it even late at night. The food was amazing, I tried all of the pasta places in town and none came close to match theirs.

Capitania Beach is less than 1 km from the hotel, while North Livingston Beach is a 14-minute walk from the property. Management and all staff were super friendly, accommodating, and professional. We also loved our view on the large balcony. The hotel restaurant is outstanding, excellent food with a beautiful view of the ocean and surrounding mountains. We would definitely recommend to others looking to stay in the area.
