We loved the cleanliness, the comfortable beds and the space. Most of all we loved the staff in particular Vasso, who was so friendly and offered excellent suggestions. She could not do enough to make our stay so wonderful. She even taught us some Greek.

Stunning sea views from the large private balcony overlooking the town of Myrina, with a clear view of Mount Athos in the distance which made for spectacular sunsets. Very peaceful, quiet setting with beautiful, flower-filled gardens and ample parking right outside. Comfortable, attractive, recently refurbished studio apartment with everything we needed for an extended stay, (essential kitchen equipment, coffee machines, laundry rack, air conditioning, very comfortable bed and really good wifi). Daily cleaning service offering fresh towels if needed... and the ladies were very kind in adapting to my late hours and coming to clean in the afternoon! In fact, all of the staff were very helpful and really sweet. Complimentary wine, water, coffee and sweets on arrival were a lovely touch. And we were so grateful when they offered us a late check out because we didn't have to leave until 4.15 pm to catch our flight... which enabled us to make the most of our last day! There were two great supermarkets and a fabulous bakery/coffee shop a few minutes' walk away and the beach and town centre were in walking distance. I have spent lots of time travelling in Greece over the years and I found Lemnos a very quiet island. There are few tourist attractions (the most notable being the beautiful archaeological sites and Myrina Castle) and in June there were few tourists which made things VERY peaceful, maybe too much for some people... though obviously July and August will be very different. This is clearly not an island to go to for nightlife or lots of activities. There are many lovely beaches - most deserted and some with excellent, stylish facilities. The standard of food and wine were fantastic and excellent value for money and we found so many lovely tavernas and ouzeries, both in Myrina and in the small villages on the coast and inland. All in all, a great place to relax and unwind... and put on a few kilos!

We felt very welcome there and the staff were super friendly. The room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The kitchenette in the room was handy and there was a washing machine available for guests to use. The location is quiet but still close to everything. We had a room at the back of the house which had a nice view from the balcony.

The property is about 5 minutes driving from the beach. Varos Village Boutique Hotel enjoys a central location in the scenic village of Varos in Lemnos. This magnificent hotel in the heart of Lemnos is characterized by amazing traditional design and affordable luxury. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, the members of staff genuinely friendly and the quality of all services of very high standard. The restaurant offers a wide range of delicious choices at reasonable prices, considering their quality. The front office team was tremendously attentive to all our needs. We are definitely coming back!

Close to Myrina's shops and in front of the imposing castle, the listed Arxontiko Hotel is a charming, traditional guest house appointed with antique furnishings offering certified Greek breakfast. Breakfast was lovely. Staff were wonderful. Room was large and spacious, balcony had a lovely view. Location was in a great spot - could walk to the beach, the port, the main shops and restaurants.
