We ordered the breakfast basket and it was tremendous! Wow, we didn't know how anyone could finish it for breakfast. We had hoped for some more snow locally so we could go alpine or cross-crountry skiing during out stay. We enjoyed a walk around the lake nevertheless.

Beautiful view on the lake and mountains! The price for night is quite costly for us, but we can understand why - it is one unique hotel with thier own beach area on the one of the beautiful lakes in Germany We will return in future for sure.

Peacefully located a 5-minute drive from Bad Reichenhall, this family-run hotel has a lakeside terrace overlooking Lake Thumsee. The Bavarian-style rooms feature balconies with panoramic mountain views. The hotel was set in a beautiful valley with spectacular views. Dirk was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The room was nicely appointed, which made for a very comfortable stay. The breakfast selection gave plenty of choices. The price made this stay very good value.
