I was very positively surprised by the quality of staff, the food and the cleanliness of our rooms and bathrooms vs. the price we paid. The managers were incredibly helpful in terms of providing any info, items we needed, or even having a laugh together at the tennis table. The atmosphere was very chill and most importantly the staff was trustworthy - we didn't fear loosing the money or luggage. Plus, the best octopus in Nungwi ;)

The rooms are very large, spacious and decorated with simplicity and style. There is no shortage of amenities, the pool is small but perfect for the space and anyone staying here will certainly not regret it, as it is an extraordinary experience. Even more extraordinary is the way you are welcomed by the owner, Zuzanu, a charming woman who knows how to host. And of course, Baraka, always with a smile on his face and very helpful. The space is in the middle of the village and you can experience tranquillity and security (only guests have access to the space), without losing the charm of living with local life.

Amazing location, 30 Seconds away from beach front, amazing friendly staff, customer service was amazing. They have a terrace where you can eat breakfast and gave a sea view, plenty of amazing restaurants nearby. Cant go wrong with the price. Would reccomend.

We stayed at Gaia Villas for ten days this june, and we had a wonderful time. The hotel is located just a short walk away from the famous Nungwi beach. The amazing Kendwa beach is also within walking distance, especially during low tide. The hostess and all of her staff were so nice and helpful to us. They gave us many great recommendations for activities, sights and places to eat in the nearby areas. The hostess booked a spectacular snorkeling and dolphin tour for us, which we holeheartedly recommend! We had never tried snorkeling before. The hostess gave us many helpful advice regarding how to get the most out of it and how to choose and adjust snorkeling gear. We highly recommend Gaia Villas and we would love to come back in a not too distant future. Great place for young couples!

Very beautiful place, decorated with love. The property is not so far from the beach (app. 10 minutes); it's small, so not too many people and you can relax near the pool. We loved our room, which was clean and tidy. The owner and the staff are extremely friendly and were ready to help us every moment. We checked out in the night and were given the take-out breakfast. It was so sweet :)

Lovely place, beautiful common areas and I enjoyed specially the “quiet” second pool at the spa (away from kids and teens). Great food at restaurant. Not so far from the beach. The most comfortable beds we had at the island.

A wonderful property, located just a few steps from Nungwi beach, where you can rent sunbeds. Very near to all restaurants and shops. Rooms are spacious, comfortable, spotless and gorgeous (better than pictures show). Strong air con and no mosquitoes. Breakfast is simple, but fresh and delicious, they serve it in the garden. WiFi was very good as well. Staff offer an excellent service and Katja and Baiba are always there to help. We had an amazing stay and highly recommend the place, thank you so much.
