We had a very nice stay at Palmeras. The host, Victor, was very nice and a very good cook. The place was nice with areas to chill as well. We had the best time.

The communal area is nice and the shared meal in the evening is a nice touch. The personal welcome and goodbye is nice too. The prices for food and drinks is fair. We rented kayaks go to Livingston and got their boat back which was nice. Our kids had a great time staying there.

It is difficult to say anything positive about the actual accommodation but the surrounding area was beautiful. We rented a kayak and explored the area and it was stunning. So peaceful and tranquil with wonderful flora and fauna. Julio the host was also very friendly and the kitchen is large and well stocked.
There’s nothing quite like waking up to the sound of swirling waves and the smell of sea air through your bedroom window. Beachfront accommodation comes in a variety of forms, from well decked-out resorts to secluded homestays and villas. Beach hotel amenities can include air-conditioned rooms, private terraces overlooking the sea and outdoor pools with adjacent bars.
Amazing hotel with clean pool. Beautiful garden area.
They call you a TukTuk if needed and offer food.
The beach is not special but it‘s like everywhere else in the town.
Martha was an exceptional host. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time at Casa Maya, it was a perfect location for my boys (8 & 10) to become fully immersed in experiencing what Rio Dulce had to offer - they enjoyed kayaking, fishing, swimming and relaxing on the hammocks.

Lovely little place in Livingston.
Dorm beds with ocean view.
Pier with platform to practice movement, chill or watch the pelicans. Sunset view from the pier, too.
Elenor, the volunteer and all the other staff are super friendly and helpful.
Ismael the owner is super interesting to talk to, too.
In case you had something organized via Greengos, make sure to send a message to Rosada, too, just to have them in the loop ;-)
Good food and coffee.
Thank you!
Loved the hammocks and the continental breakfast in the morning. Also loved how it’s located on the beach so there’s a really nice view.
And of course Sonni was super friendly & helpful and took us on a fun day trip down Rio Dulce :)
Lovely location right on the beach, by a pier with hammocks which was nice because the beach is only about a metre wide and full of rubbish so not so nice for sunbathing.
The location is ok (besides tons of trash on the beach) and waking up with the sound of waves is really nice. There are two hammocks to chill in. Besides that, the place is overpriced for what it is and the owner is rude.
