So much to like about Zapote Tree Inn! The view is incredible, you feel like you are living in the jungle. Eric is incredibly attentive and the rooms are nicer than they look in the pictures - AC was a blessing and the shower worked well. We had fresh towels everyday and the food was fantastic and reasonably priced. The is even a Mayan ruin being dug out by archeologists 5 mins walk from the hotel. Would highly recommend staying here.

Super cute house/building at the shore of lake peten itza, nice to just walk out and jump into the lake. The swimming pool and restaurant are a beautiful spot to spend time there. The view from the hotel room to the lake was superb! The air conditioner worked beutifully which is esscential in a place like Flores.

There’s nothing quite like waking up to the sound of swirling waves and the smell of sea air through your bedroom window. Beachfront accommodation comes in a variety of forms, from well decked-out resorts to secluded homestays and villas. Beach hotel amenities can include air-conditioned rooms, private terraces overlooking the sea and outdoor pools with adjacent bars.
Beautiful view on the west, so while most people in the island flight to see the sunset, I could see it from the hotel. The rooms are okay, I'm not sure if it's worth the price. But there's AC, good comfortable beds and cushions, enough towels. The bar is a bit dead, and if it rains, the stairs and hall can get pretty slippery, but all in all, I enjoyed my stay. Would be a seven if the location wasn't as good.
Hotel Isla de Flores is in a perfect location to explore the island. It was very quiet, spacious and spotless clean. We even got an early check in which was much appreciated after a sweaty minibus ride! We ate in the bakery attached which was delicious also.
Great stay. Comfortable room, views of the sunset and free packed lunch included if missing breakfast (handy for sunrise tours / early transfers. Also a pool which is great to cool off after a long day.
The room was small but comfortable and very clean. The bathroom was a good size and the aircon was amazing in the Flores heat. It was in a good location and easy to fine despite being down a side street. We really liked the small terraces which had great sunset views.
Very pretty hotel, the pool is a life saver in the heat! Breakfast was served in the neighbor hotel and I had no problems getting it and it was good. Room has A/C and was spacious and clean. Location is central on the island, which is super small anyway. The sunset views were a huge plus!!
Perfect location, close to nature yet comfortable. Clean, spacious rooms overlooking a little lake. You can go see monkeys, swim on the pool, kayak, bike on the property. Spent our days just relaxing, watching sunsets and looking at birds. Great staff and service on the restaurant, outstanding service by the waiters, they made us feel so welcome.
stunning little hotel. lovely pool area and perfect spot to watch the sunset. breakfast was very tasty and generous portion. Room was lovely and big and AC was excellent and needed for the hot temperature outside. perfect location on the waterfront.
