This was our first time in Scotland & we looked so forward to staying at Glencruitten. It was beyond anything we dreamed of. The place is absolutely stunning & full of so much history. Anna & Paul are so warm & friendly. They made you feel like you knew them forever. They gave us expert ideas of what to see, where to eat & shop. The dining room is exquisite & the breakfast out of this world. We would recommend anyone going to Scotland to make Glencruitten House a must stay. You will be happy you did.

Just for sevice alone I would give a 10. Something went wrong with the booking, so when we arrived our reservation was not in the system. But they went out of their way to help us and managed to get us one of the last available rooms. Lovely people! The room was clean, comfortable and had an amazing view. Good location to discover Oban, and for trips in the area. Easy parking, which is always a plus.

Set in Oban, 700 metres from Corran Halls, No.26 By The Sea offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. This 4-star hotel features free WiFi and a bar. Certain units at the property feature a balcony with a sea view.

We stayed in six different hotels on our visit to Scotland. This was the best one. We were greeted by a lovely and smart Australian lady who explained everything we needed to know about our stay in Oban. This hotel had no lift but the staff are more than willing to help you with your luggage should you wish so. The hotel itself is a lovely period house with a lovely view of the sea. The living room is to die for, I could sit there all day just staring out of the window. The room is very trendy and original. The shower room was quite spacious and stocked with all the toiletries you need. We had a lovely breakfast, cooked to order but they also bring a small tray with a mini croissant and a juice at your door before you go down for breakfast. They have a well stocked bar in the living room which is unmanned, you just write down the drinks you have and your room number so its aptly called the honesty bar! The location is around 15 minuted on foot to the city centre, the walk itself is lovely.

A charming ‘old world’ hotel. A lovely experience with a step back in time. Slightly aging, but retains a romantic charm. It’s best to request a seaside room, as the views are beautiful and the rooms generous in size.

Most amazing staff. Chat like you're family while attending to your requests. That location is absolutely the best. Hooked on 10k steps a day? Join the march on the seaside promenade. Enjoy your drinks or breakfast watching the boats small to large come in to berth. Dinner and breakfast were good and not over priced. I highly recommend.

Room was small but had tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits, milk, hairdryer, everything very clean, good bed. Pleasant staff, readily supplied more basics. Not sure why people complained about the sea views - there were sea views from the window (partially obscured by a building) but why would you sit in a room looking out the window when the seaside promenade is literally a minutes walk away!

    - Great location just outside the main strip of town. - Being on the north end of town, we had great access to the coastal walk up to Ganavan Sands! - Beautifully decorated room bringing the seaside to all aspects of our stay. - Comfy bed and good shower/ bathroom. - Really friendly guesthouse staff. - No breakfast is provided but the provisions provided (juices, porridge pots, cereal bars, fruit) were really appreciated and generous!

We absolutely loved our stay, the location was phenomenal with stunning views and right on the beach. The property was immaculately presented and we felt right at home as soon as we got there. The home had everything you require or could ask for and more and we absolutely loved the welcome basket with some home made treats. Thanks to David for the warm welcome, excellent host. We honestly fell in love with the place and will certainly be back. We could not fault this place and cannot recommend it enough. 10/10! Jed & Sarah.

Perfect location by the seaside within 10-minute walking distance from the centre. The staff was most welcoming and helpful, luggage storage was also possible. Breakfast can be ordered on arrival; it was one of the best breakfasts I have ever had, absolutely recommended! The common areas are also cozy, the ccommon kitchen is well-equipped. The room was spacious and comfortable.

Good location, slightly out of town but only a short walk, great views over the harbour and a front garden facing the sunset. Clean, modern rooms with everything you need in an old traditional, seaside building. Friendly and helpful hosts. Parking right outside, has to be paid for but that's the same all over Oban.
