I found the standard of this hotel exceeded my expectations in many ways. The hotel was exceptionally clean and comfortable and the location was ideal. The views from my room were amazing. There was a beautiful long walk along the beach, just behind the hotel, which I used most days during my 5 night stay there. The gym is well equipped with great sea views. The subway / metro is just a short walk away and it is very cheap and convenient to get anywhere in the island. The most important asset of this hotel by far, is the amazing staff who work there. They, all, really go out of their way to help in anyway they can. One member of staff is particular which would be unfair not to mention is a beautiful young lady Angel. She is incredibly polite, well mannered, patient, professional, impeccably dressed, knowledgeable and most helpful. Any advice or guidance she provided to me, was very useful and accurate. The views of Haicang Bay and Xiamen island from a sea view room are great. Even in overcast weather, the views are atmospheric. The bed was very comfortable, as were the red chairs and the shower. My room was spotless. I had no problems checking in and checking out - the staff were both efficient and polite.
