The decor of the pousada in general and of our room was excellent. Our breakfast was very good and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Our host Chris and her partner helped with ideas for trips and also put us in touch with a local taxi driver to help us get around. We spent a day at Praia Patachou (a small fee is needed to access) with facilities for shower and food. A visit to Tatuamunha, 10K south, allowed us to visit numerous artisan shops. Also the local Pizzeria is very good and a pleasant place to eat in, with all pizzas made in a wood burning oven. A car is reccommended to make the most of your stay. We arrived on foot via taxi and that worked fine.

Didier, Lisa and the pets are the most amazing hosts I could expect! Coming from U.S. to enjoy the beautiful Brazilian coat, I am confident that staying with them at Villages was the best choice! The beach is almost in their backyard, just a couple of steps from the hotel! And it’s just stunning! The hotel is very comfortable, peaceful and quiet. The breakfast is an attraction itself! I can’t wait to stay there again!
Great place to relax. The beach is almost like a private beach. You can walk for miles without meeting many people, except for a few friendly stray dogs. There are a few beach bars, but not much else.

Nice and quiet location. Although there was a bar at the facility, the beach bar next door looked more exciting. Quiet and secluded beach with very little traffic. The rooms could be a tad bit bigger, but we did only pay for a basic room.
Everything is amazing there, the staff, the food, the location. It's located right in front of the beach and the staff are all super friendly. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by the lovely manager Leo, who was helpful throughout the whole trip. The food from the pousada's restaurant is fantastic, from breakfast to dinner.
