Set in Figueira da Foz, We Surf House offers accommodation with air conditioning and access to a garden with a barbecue and a shared kitchen. Everyting was amazing, from helpful staff, through breakfast, and lastly to the most friendly host I have ever met, Marco. The place is close to the beach, you can also visit local restaruants while you are there! There were few people, so if you need some peace it s definately the place for you. Every space in the garden is carefully occupied either by hammock, tables with chairs or garden with vegetables. You can do whatever you want, you can hang out with people in the suit if you want, you can go surfing, go lay on the beach or just sit in jacuzzi as long as you want. The place definately brought peace and quiet for a bit, definately want to visit again. And lastly I want to thank Marco, for being so nice and helpful, especially when we were leaving. Lovely place!

Hidden from the herds of summer tourists, Casa d’Avo Dalina is located in a small fisherman village of Costa de Lavos, a step away from the endless stretch of a white-sand beach. It is a hostel-type accommodation built in a modernist style. The building should've been a case study for Dwell. The guests share a kitchen, a living room, and a courtyard - a great way to meet people and make new friends. The hostel and the nearby oceanfront restaurant, Xiringuito, are built and run by a local couple who gave up their careers to pursue this dream of bringing to light everything Costa de Lavos has to offer: its lively community, its ocean, its sunrises and sunsets, its fish... On our morning walks we would see a fisherman boat taking off to catch the fish that we’ll eat at Xiringuito at night. The food was exquisite, definitely a highlight, Carlos knows how to cook! Notes to fellow travelers. Costa de Lavos is off the beaten path, you’ll be taking some rural roads to get there. There are several little stores in the village. For larger shopping needs, Figuera da Foz is 20 minutes away on a car. We brought our drinking water and snacks. All stores we went to take credit cards. The hostel's bathrooms are in the hallway, but each room has its dedicated bathroom.

Situated just 100 metres from Mira Beach, O VIOLAS - Art Coffee & Guesthouse features accommodation in Praia de Mira with access to free bikes, a garden, as well as a 24-hour front desk. I Violas has been beautifully decorated and is very comfortable. Wonderful beds and fantastic breakfast. The hosts were very interesting and helpful in telling us where to go to visit and see the sights of the area.

Offering quiet street views, Chez Odete is an accommodation set in Figueira da Foz, 1.2 km from Forte de Santa Catarina Beach and 1.3 km from Claridade Beach. We had a wonderful time in Chez Odete. The owner is the most welcoming person you can imagine. The place is both spacious and cozy, simple but has everything you might need. In the begging it was a bit cold, Odete explained to us how to warm up the place and it got better.

Maré Viva Bed & Breakfast, featuring a terrace, is situated in Rego da Leirosa, 45 km from Dr. Magalhães Pessoa Stadium and 45 km from Leiria Castle. The owner is very nice and felt warm welcome. All facilities are well thought about guests. Breakfast is good!
