One Burgess Hill offers a choice of 15 self-contained units overlooking the stunning Waiwhakaiho River and native landscape. Everything went well. The room was exactly as we hoped. The view was spectacular and the staff was really friendly and helpful.

Set in Mangawhai in the Northland region, Mangawhai Heads apartment features a garden. The property has inner courtyard views. Everything. First of all we were amazingly received. Our baby was ill but the hosts made us feel very confortable about it. We felt at home they also offered us a late check out to be able to rest as we had a tough night. We are so grateful we had the chance to spend the night in this place and ti meet these wonderful hosts. The garden is beautiful. Location is great and close to center and beaches and also very quiet to relax

Wisteria Way is a recently renovated guest house in Opononi, where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge. Quirky, interesting, beautiful location. Quiet despite being next to highway. Great hosts could not have been more helpful.

Birdsong Cottage is a recently renovated holiday home in Paraparaumu, where guests can make the most of its garden and terrace. Birdsong Cottage blew me out of the water -- it's gorgeous, calming, immaculate and the hosts, Susan and Gavin, go above and beyond in ways that make you feel more like whānau than guests. The cottage is very pretty, clean and extremely comfortable with much evidence of attention to detail. I asked if I could check in earlier since I was checking out of a previous lodging at 10am and Susan was truly accomodating although it was a big ask. I took advantage of the property's stunning aesthetic with photos galore and spent most of the time on the porch with wine or coffee. I am a big Tūī fan, so it was an absolute dream and the hosts are mindful to make sure that birding is optimal on the property. At their kind insistence, Susan offered me fresh eggs and Gavin drove me to the Paraparaumu airport. Stunning experience, I cannot recommend it enough.

It’s a short drive from Whangarei city and worth the drive, located on the water’s edge. Peaceful , clean and private The two rooms are well equipped and Alice is a wonderful host. This is not a boutique hotel, it feels like home with no distractions. Highly recommended.

Offering a garden and garden view, Bluewater Studio is located in Tairua, 2.6 km from Pauanui Beach and 26 km from Cathedral Cove. The location was perfect, the owners were incredibly lovely but also respected my privacy. Would recommend this please to travelers. Perfect size room for one to two people

3 km from Fitzroy Beach, Almost Heaven BNB is a recently renovated property set in New Plymouth and offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. The house was clean and modern, located in the quiet area by the creek and a but out of the city jungles. The hosts were amazing, and let me stay longer on the checkout day without even asking. It was well appreciated after hiking the Mt Taranaki a day before.
