Just a 2-minute walk from Los Muertos Beach and 0.6 miles from Amapas Beach, Vallarta Sun Suites features accommodations in Puerto Vallarta, with a casino. Excellent old-world Mexican style villa right in the centre of the Romantic Zone, within steps of the beach. Wonderful staff, a great little pool and all the amenities of an apartment. We had a wonderful experience the entire time.

La Posada Pacifica offers accommodations in Puerto Vallarta, a few steps from Boca de Tomatlan Beach and 1.2 miles from Colomitos Cove Beach. Wonderful patio, dreamy hammock, beautiful view, very clean. Everything you need for a fantastic stay. We loved playing cards on the patio after a later dinner at Casa Abuela. (The ceviche place across the street from there is also excellent.) Every day we took a water taxi (100 pesos) to different beaches. We stayed three nights and got to three beaches - we could have stayed another night to make it to Yelapa. We liked going towards the end of Las Animas under the shade of the palm trees, and hanging out at Charly's Bar on Playa Quimixto watching the incredible surfing. One day we hiked (45 mins) to Colomitos Beach which was shallow low waves, but pretty small in terms of footprint.

A 9-minute walk from Camarones Beach in the center of Puerto Vallarta, Garlands Del Rio offers accommodations with free Wifi and access to a garden, hot tub, and wellness packages. Beautiful hotel, great location and our room had a charming view of the river. we enjoyed the breakfast on the terrace overlooking the river. Marta and Alejandro were excellent host and gave us several good restaurant recommendations, our favourite being an Italian place that played music on Mondays that was two blocks away. It was a nice treat having a welcome margarita and guacamole.

Located right on Conchas Chinas Beach, the adults-only Quinta Maria Cortez offers an outdoor pool, gardens and elegant suites with balconies and free Wi-Fi. Puerto Vallarta is 1.9 mi away. A beautiful boutique hotel nestled into the cliffside overlooking a (relatively) private beach. The staff is very welcoming (as were the other guests during my stay). Delicious breakfast. Beautiful view from the Maximilian Suite (and a lot of stairs). The Maximilian Suite has one bed open to the entire suite and one closed room, so best suited to a family or a group that doesn't require a lot of privacy. It was breezy and cool in the evening, I never used the AC although it is available in the closed room. Room is exceptionally well equipped with a lovely set of clean dishes, coffee + coffee maker and full fridge + water. I did not cook. It is a very quick (70 peso) ride into the main part of Puerto Vallarta or a 30 min walk via the beaches, so off the beaten path which is what I wanted. The beach is rocky and Pacific waves are big, but beaches directly to the north and south have safer swimming and some small coves suitable for children. Lovely to explore and never crowded. Incredible sunset views. I would 100% come back.

Accommodating three couples, our 3-room villa was spacious and well-appointed. The air conditioning in each bedroom was a godsend, providing a comfortable retreat from the warm Puerto Vallarta days. Falling asleep to the soothing sound of ocean waves outside our windows was a truly magical experience. Our private balcony, complete with a pool, became our favorite spot to unwind. The breathtaking views of the sunset over the ocean made every evening a picture-perfect moment. The combination of luxury, comfort, and natural beauty at Vallarta Shores exceeded our expectations.
