I can’t really express how happy I was with my stay here. The Kristov Wau family were welcoming and helpful, and went the extra mile to ensure I was comfortable. Even the family dogs made me feel at home 🐶 The accommodation is an amazing value for the money, and the location can’t be beat if you’re here to surf. And Mama Kristov’s cooking…wow !10/10, would definitely stay here again .

Set in Lagundri, Jamburae Lodge provides accommodation access to a garden. A à la carte breakfast is available every morning at the property. The homestay offers a barbecue. Lovingly designed guesthouse with incredibly good food and very dedicated surf instructors. We felt very comfortable with Petra and Site. The ping pong table and a pool table were an extra treat. Simply wonderful and highly recommended.

Run by super friendly David and his family, this hotel is right out the front of the famous surf break (I could see the wave from my window). Has sensational food at great prices and all the staff are so welcoming and chatty 10/10 experience

Located in Telukdalam, a few steps from Baloho Beach, Taman Baloho Indah - Hotel & Resort provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Great place to hangout with huge Windows to look at Palm trees and the sea from a great bed, in the luxury of a good airco. The room is big and as mentioned light. The bed was one of the best I slept on for a while. Food even delivered to the room if wanted, but also there is a big dining hall. The dining hall catches a little wind which is nice when it's hot. The staff is great and didn't hesitate to help me out with a ride to town. I want to thank them for their welcoming and friendly attitude. A place to come back to.

By far the best view in all of Nias. Sanali and his wife were incredibly accommodating and helped to make my stay here truly special. Whatever was needed Sanali was there to help; from chartering boats to remote breaks to providing delicious meals… and cleaning up after us slobs. the room is nothing special, but if your coming to Sorake for luxuries your making a big mistake.

Ani and Pery are such amazing people. They are there to assist you with any request or questions. Ani is an amazing chef that who will cook you anything you like, while Pery is more than willing to go the extra mile to help you. He found a rental board easily. Ani cooked amazing crayfish and prawns. The accomodation is relaxing and clean. A quick walk to the main surf break, close to massage facilities and stalls for snacks. I would go back there in a heart beat.
