The people I met there were amazing, I spent Christmas and my birthday at Casa llemo and I am really happy I chose to stay there.

The facilites were fantastic. Host was very helpful and responded to our request well. Close enough to Panajachel to get to easily but not in the middle of everything. Perfect both for people who want to go and do tourist things or those who want to relax in a jacuzzi.

Guests staying at this apartment have access to a terrace. - The place is a bit further (yet still within walking distance) from the main touristy area. This makes it much calmer and less noisy - The weekend /weekday markets are across the street. You got a bit of an additional authenticity through those (plus you can easily buy delicious fruits) - The owner was extremely helpful with answering all of our questions about the place, the neighborhood and the town - We were also allowed to check out in the afternoon which was a huge help for us (by not having to spend hours in the summer heat while waiting for our shuttle)

The best place I stayed! The hosts were so welcoming and friendly. They really cared to make sure we were comfortable and happy. They went the extra mile to make us breakfast, arrange tours for us and even offer a shuttle to the airport. Thank you so much!

Amankaya Atitlan is a recently renovated guest house in Cerro de Oro where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge. This is a awesome place and absolutely unique. This made our Guatemala trip absolute special! Fernando is the best host you can imagine.
