Featuring a sun terrace overlooking the Aegean Sea, Apostolakis Rooms are located in Therma Village of Agios Kyrikos, just 164 feet from the sandy beach. The owners are so kind, generous and helpful. They made our stay easy and relaxing.The studio is alone on the roof of the building and has an expansive view of the harbor, the sea and distant islands. The hot spring is free and a two-minute walk away. Kitchen is small but adequate to make simple meals to break up the restaurant visit regimen. Local honey and [horta] (a spinach-like green) were two much appreciated discoveries for me. Steak House is the best restaurant in the town. Renting car is cheap and easy. You will need one to get to Seychelles beach (a must visit--bring good hiking shoes). You can hike to Lefkada (sp.?) hot springs--natural hot spring among boulders along the shore west of the main town. Hike to main town for shopping is a 30-minute jaunt. Taxi back was only 5 euros.

Located in Therma, home of Ikaria's hot mineral springs, traditionally built Agriolykos Pension is 66 feet from the beach. It offers a landscaped garden and a café with panoramic Aegean Sea views. I loved the garden and the view of the pension. Both room and the garden was decoreted with a nice taste and has everything you might need during your stay. People who works there are very kind and helpful.

Marina Hotel is located in an elevated position in Therma, a village famous for its medicinal baths. It offers air-conditioned rooms and a terrace with panoramic sea views. Love the place. Good location for springs and the sea, impeccably clean, comfortable, tea/coffee making possibilities in the room, kind hostess - couldn't be better!

Pyrgos Traditional Village is located near the main port of Agios Kirikos, in Ikaria’s capital. The complex features sea-view villas, and a pool, a garden and a large terrace. This place was truly amazing! Such a traditional feeling with modern amenities. The views are the best on the island. I’ve been to Ikaria few times before and this hotel is my favorite part of the island so far. Cant wait to come back!

House of light is a recently renovated vacation home in Evdilos, near Evdilos Beach. This beachfront property offers access to a balcony and free Wifi. This is really the perfect place to stay if you visit Ikaria - really full of light! If you arrive with ferry it’s very convenient as it’s just two minutes from the port. The house itself is better than it looks on the pictures, new and cosy with a well equipped kitchen. From the bed - that is super comfortable - you have a beautiful view to the see, and you can sleep with the sound of the waves. Guests can enjoy mountain views.... Spacious, clean and comfortable apartment with ocean views and direct access to the beach that was almost private as it was never crowded. Enjoyed sitting on my terrace overlooking the ocean or sitting in the garden under the shade of trees. Best place to totally wind down and relax. There is a restaurant and cafe across the road and kitchen is equipped for cooking. Costa was a great host, very friendly and made me feel at home.
