Offering a shared garden and city view, at 300 metres from Portobello Beach and 3 km from Arthurs Seat. The apartment was very cosy and perfectly tidy, sited in a strategical point in Portobello High Street, very near to the seaside, a few steps from the bus stop, where line 26 brings you to the city centre in 20-30 min. Very easy to reach from the airport with public transports. Fits for a couple but also for 3 with its 2 bedrooms and a big open space living room, linked to a kitchen with everything you'll need to cook, bake or just enjoy a cup of tea. Anne, the landlord, was really kind and helpful, everything was ready for us, even some sweet treats, milk, tea bags and coffee which we exploited immediately after our arrival. The towels were included and there's also a washing machine and everything to do the ironing. So fits perfectly even for a long stay. The window view is on the street, but nice, as the apartment is in the corner of the building and the windows are wide, so there's a lot of light during the day. Moreover, amenities like supermarkets, chemists and restaurants, are very near, just a few steps from the apartment. There's a nice pub literally next door, in the same building, called Portobello Tap. After our stay we thought... how about moving here? So five stars are not enough to describe Anne, her apartment and her wonderful city, Edinburgh!

Dog friendly, easy to walk the dogs on neighboring meadow. Perfect base for Ediburgh and Lothian trips

Featuring free WiFi and a sun terrace, Another Room offers accommodation between the districts of Portobello and Craigentinny in Edinburgh, 4 km from the city centre. Lynne is warm and welcoming and makes you feel like you are home. The room was large, beautifully decorated and the facilities excellent. The bus into Edinburg is on the same street and a 15 minute easy trip. This was our last stop on our trip around the UK and we could not have chosen a better place. The Scottish breakfast is to die for, and Lynne’s generosity giving us the treats we simply could not fit in to take away for morning tea was a generous, lovely and unexpected touch.

Situated in the historic town of Gullane, on the southern shore of the Firth of Forth, Maple Cottage B&B offers easy access to the championship Muirfield Links Golf Club, 3 minutes’ drive away. The hostess Heather very friendly and entertaining and answered all our annoying questions with great Scottish humor. Private en suite and a FABULOUS well behaved dog.

Very nice place, beautiful views and beach. Kids loved it. Home was clean and nice. Warm shower and good kitchen. Internet and TV. Outside patio was nice with quiet evenings. Good distance from Edinburgh by car.
