Beach rentals in Matara

I have to admit that the stay by Seadina Coral Home was the best 4 days during our whole 14 days experience in Sri Lanka and I think the best 5 hotels which I have ever been in my life, believe I travel a lot 😅. Chami offers way more than any 5* hotel. I can understand now why people extend the holiday here and if not next booking we would definitely stay by Chami longer and we absolutely regret! The host is so gentle, hospitable and taking care person. The room was incredibly equipped with more than we need and also was so clean with good smell. The breakfast was huge that we had to leave portion for later 😅it seemed that it was for whole day. The shakes were gigantic🥝🥭🫐 Chami also offers tours, scooters rent, free bike rent but he does not insist on people to take any tours, in other places unfortunately we experienced that. The hotel has great locations, close to two beaches, restaurants, supermarkets and many different facilities. Thank you for everything 🙏

Peace & privacy. The rooms and grounds are expertly designed for a full experience of comfort amidst nature. I could easily imagine spending a week here.

The staff was amazing and super welcoming, it let us check out a bit later since our amazing food was a bit late. we got a really nice 3 bedroom room qith all you need and a nice sitting area out side. The beach is a 3min walk and you have a great local restaurant 10min away. it was great :)

Great (short) stay with the jungle as a backdrop - all wrapped up in top-notch Sri Lankan hospitality and interesting discussions with Buddhika, the host.

My family and I recently booked this house to celebrate a milestone birthday as well as our twenty-year wedding anniversary that both occurred within days of each other. We stayed exactly a week with our three kids. I cannot describe our experience as anything other than AMAZING! The pool is in good shape and can be enjoyed with a view of the ocean complete with waves crashing against the costal rocks. There are plenty of places to relax around the pool and a nicely shaded patio to take a break from the sun or get out of the rain. The house is walled on all four sides for privacy, but the ocean view is completely unobstructed because the house (and pool) sits on a hill high above the back fence. The house staff was a major highlight of our experience, and I cannot possibly fully express my gratitude for the staff here. There was someone available 24/7 yet our privacy always felt completely respected and intact. Breakfast was included in the price of the rental and consisted of the perfect combination of local produce and cuisine which was prepared and served alongside with anything that we requested. Lunch and dinner were also prepared by the staff, we only paid for the groceries. Each day they asked what we would like for lunch/dinner and then they shopped for fresh produce, seafood/meats, and alcohol and then prepare the meals. Last but far from least, a VERY special thank you to the chef and head of staff (and now friend), Upendra. He helped us with everything from food, to getting us to-and-from the airport, to planning several day trips where we traveled around the country touring temples, lakes, mountains, sea turtle sanctuaries, safaris, and a scenic train ride to name a few. Upendra easily made this trip the most memorable we’ve ever had. In all honestly, I can say that I would plan a vacation solely around his location and availability.

This place is a little gem. Right in front of the beach, it is an oasis of peace far away from the busy touristic places. Here you get to experience lovely authentic Sri Lankan neighbourhood. The hosts were very friendly and kind. The father was the sweetest man, always being very caring and offering us teas, water and food. Oh my God the food is amazing, and the amount, I wished I could have 3 stomachs to fit it all in. Higly recommend it. Thank you very much Only suggestion is to install an A/C in the room for the hottest days :)

The owner is very nice, the property is beautiful, right next to the beach and to the Doctor’s House.

The owners were so friendly and helpful, it’s in a great location to the beach and restaurants. It has a really homely feel to place. Highly recommend
