Helena met me at the property to give me the keys, show me around, and give me fresh fruits and delicious pastries. The building is very well maintained with beautiful flowers growing everywhere, a huge outdoor grill, and a small pool.The 3 bedroom apartment was large and furnished with very nice comfortable furniture and new appliances. It is located about a 2 minute drive to the ocean and you have amazing ocean views all over the island. There are locally owned cafes, supermarkets, restaurants, and souvenir shops very close. Rethymno is about a 15 minute drive and has tons of restaurants, night life, and pretty much anything else you need. We basically had the pool all to ourselves. The wifi went out one night after a thunder storm. I contacted Helena and she had the issue fixed immediately. I had a great time exploring most of Crete and would definitely stay at Helena's again if i ever get a chance.

The villa is brilliant, very private and with large grounds and great views - there is a villa above that shares some of the drive, but you are not overlooked or disturbed by it. Villa was equipped with everything we needed and more. The pool was always a lovely temperature because of its great position it captured the warmth of the sun. The curtained cabana next the the pool with daybed and sunbeds was wonderful; our family could all sit together in the middle of the day getting shade or sun depending how you positioned the curtains! The host Pelagia and her family were exceptionally friendly and helpful, responding immediately to any request or slight issue, with treats left for us on arrival and throughout. There was bikes with helmets for us to use. The BBQ area was very impressive.

Beautiful Villa. Beds are comfortable,air-conditioning is quiet, and outdoor space with the kitchen and pools are amazing. It's over 3 floors, two beds at the bottom floor, and one on the main floor with the open plan kitchen and lounge and one up in the loft. All have either a patio,balcony, or roof terrace. The view over the olive Grove and over to the mountains is lovely and a nice place to watch the sunrise. There are 3 villas we had the middle one, which I thought was the nicest one because of the patio space, with the olive trees and lights. You do need a hire car, shop a quick drive 4 miles I think is the nearest supermarket that we could find. 20 mins to Bali beach highly recommended and same again to melidodni Cave.

The owners live just above the apartment and they are available for any request or question. They give you a feeling that you are very welcome with a smile. We had some questions before we came concerning a baby bed and we received answers to all our questions. We had to leave early due to personal reasons and we received a message from the owners after a day making sure that we are ok and we had arrived safely. Warms your heart. The apartment is super cute, everything looks new and taken care of. You have everything you need for a perfect stay.
