All the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, especially the breakfast team. They were able to book me in for dinner even though the restaurant was very busy. The food was amazing at the restaurant and they had some nice ales in the bar. Any noise that you hear from outside the bar stops promptly when it closes at 10pm. It was just a very pleasant stay, made so much better by all of the staff , I interacted with 5 of the team across my 2 night stay and they were all really friendly and hospitable. In the room, I really appreciated the French press and enough ground coffee for me to make plenty of coffee across my stay! I was able to walk down to the sea (less than 5 mins) each morning for a swim before breakfast. As a solo traveller the room size worked for me, it is small but that cannot be changed! They are well laid out and have everything you need and are very modern, clearly re-decorated recently.

This is a very unigue place to have a stay in Penzance. Kirsten and Trevor runs the Hotel with only 5 rooms. Kirsten is an artist, and he lovely paintings is all over, together with different fine art, so it is mostly Trevor who you meet. When you get into the house, you do not think you are in a hotel. You feel you are in a very, very fine private house with fine styling, and a quite small garden, where you can relax with a glass of vine. Breakfast is splendid and Kirsten/Trevor who are so friendly, will do their allmost to fulfil your needs. Do not miss the opportunity to have a stay in this lovely hotel, but you have to book early. The house is conveniently located within walking distance of the station and the town-centre. It is spick and span and I had a room with a view of the sea and Saint Michael’s Mount! A substantial breakfast is included and there is an efficient WiFi connection. But beyond that, Clare and Kevin were friendly, welcoming and resourceful hosts. They gave me very useful information about visiting the place. I would totally recommend Bay Lodge and would definitely consider staying there again.

Spacious colourful rooms, artfully decorated, fully equipped, and very comfortable. Attentive hosts, who provided a full list of restaurants and activities in the area. Free private parking. Although the location is in a quiet spot, it is within a few minutes driving to picturesque villages and major towns around the peninsula.

Check-in was a breeze. The room was wonderful, spacious, well-furnished and equipped, and comfortable. Located just a short walk away from the waterfront promenade. Wonderful breakfast is offered in the mornings.
