The property was clean and very well equipped, the kitchen was great and the washing facilities were very helpful. The Bathroom was modern and the bath was a great size. The main bedroom was clean and the bedding and pillows very good, the only issue was the TV, the remote had no batteries and the buttons on the TV didn't work great with it being older. I highly recommend this property and the value for money was brilliant.

A exceptionally nice cottage. A very well equipped kitchen. Good shower and bathroom with separate toilet. Comfy area to sit. The cottage is very quiet being set off the road but it is within sight of the local pub for a very good bar meal. Everything was spotless. Such a lovely, comfortable homely place. Great location to access Grange, Holker Hall and the South Lakes. I would like to return.

Property had everything we needed, even tea, coffee and milk for the morning as we arrived late. Hosts were fantastic and very understanding when we had issues with cancelled ferries due to the storm! Bed was comfy, and the property was kept very clean with useful brochures for the surrounding area.

Stayed for three nights at this lovely apartment and would strongly recommend it, especially for a couple. The apartment's location is perfect - everything (cafes, shops, etc.) all within a stonesthrow, and the views from the large bay windows in the bedroom and lounge are terrific - right out over the estuary. The inner courtyard is beautifully landscaped and offers a great place for relaxing - in the afternoon it is a suntrap. The apartment is spotless and has everything you need, including kitchen utensils, dishwasher, washing maching, toaster, kettle, fridge/freezer - even a cafetiere. Tastefully furnished and very comfortable throughout .. a great place to relax in or use as a base for exploring the area and Lakes. The hosts, Andy and Katrina, provide all you could wish for and were very courteous and helpful to me. I will certainly be staying here again.

From the moment we arrived the staff were very friendly. We didn’t spend much time in the pub but the time we did it was excellent. The food was absolutely spot on. Couldn’t have asked for any more.

The owner, Sarah, was a very loving, caring person. She was always available to help and was happy to tell about the area. She is so special and a reason why I will definitely return there. The breakfast was a typical English breakfast - very rich. Sarah made sure I had a gluten-free diet because I'm gluten intolerant. Also cooked me lunch and we were twice having a BBQ. The room which I had, had pretty much everything you needed, like a water cooker, dresser, TV, clothes stand, etc. and if anything was missing, Sarah made sure you were taken care of. The room looked very comfortable and the bed was one of the first beds besides my own where I could sleep without having back hurting. The bathroom was modern. The farm is beautiful, you even have access to rivers. The area is near the beach, near the hoad (that's what they call the light tower there), the prairie and the meditation center.
