The property was very spacious and cosy with ever thing you need. As the property was only 200 yards from the Train station it made getting around easy, Edinburgh only 40 min away. With the beach only a short walk away.

It's a beautifully situated cottage in Dalgety Bay right in the middle of the fields. You have a lovely view of the Firth of Forth and there is plenty of wildlife around. Had we known it was this beautiful we would have stayed a week. Shopping and dinner options nearby are good and you can be in Edinburgh in just half an hour by train. The furniture is adequate, the rooms are spacious and the kitchen is well equipped.

I would like to mention that the management couple would are the most humble, polite and happy humans I have met. Having stayed in thousands of hotels, hostels and B&B along with 25 years in hospitality , my overall thoughts are Burntisland house provides the perfect place for anyone working on contracts or attending the docks or Edinburgh for training. I’d also recommend this place if you like beautiful walks, as everyday I soaked up the see breeze along the coastal path to Aberdour. I would happily book another night , solely to meet the managers and see their progress within Burntisland hotel and sneak a wee walk 😁

The location was perfect near the centre in a very smart neighbourhood. The flat was huge and cooking was a pleasure in the big kitchen. We even sat out in the garden behind the property

Spacious, clean, quiet, heated, well equipped, organised apartment on the ground floor in a beautiful location next to the sea and about an hour's drive to Edinburgh. Free, safe parking on the premises. The Sands Hotel is in walking distance and provides friendly service and delicious food.
