The gracious owners were waiting for us outside the house. They gave us a short tour, offered restaurant suggestions and made sure we were comfortable about contacting them before they left. There were several drinks in the fridge and oil, vinegar and salt for cooking. The house was remodeled last July and is very beautiful, comfortable and entirely functional. It is on a quiet street, yet only a 10-minute walk to the Metro. Being the last stop on the Metro means you will be assured of a seat when you head into Barcelona. We enjoyed Badalona so much we spent three days just hanging there, the beach, Las Ramblas and the smiling people make us want to return soon.

The center of Barcelona can be reached in 30 minutes by public transport, which allows you to enjoy all the sights of the city during your stay and relax in a quiet place at night. Well equipped very comfortable apartment. Owner is kind and helpful, always available. Perfect wifi and central air conditioning. Supermarket and beach is on the corner just a couple minutes away. Public transport is quite good, altough it takes a bit longer to get into the city center if you miss the bus which stops in front of the house. Excellent for the price!
