The area is quiet, but it's only a short walk to the centre with all the restaurants, shops etc. Bruno, our host, was amazing. He is very friendly, helpful and made us feel very welcome. He goes out of his way to make sure we had everything we need and even provided us with a printed guide/itinerary. We will definitely come back here the next time we are in Sao Miguel

Diana, as a Host was extremely efficient, accommodating and kind hearted Host. She was very easy to communicate with and was prompt in replying. Her directions to the location were amazing and she walked me through the cabin and and the grounds to make sure I had everything I needed to make my stay comfortable. She even left a lovely gift basket of local treats which was very thoughtful and showed how proud she is of her home country and wants to share that with her guests. Very, very special. The cabin location was amazing with a great view of the village and the ocean with a lovely outdoor covered veranda to sit and eat and take in the view. The kitchen was efficient and well stocked with all you needed to have morning tea or coffee and to cook and make a meal. It was extremely clean and the beds were very comfortable. At night you could sit out, even in the rain and watch the sunset and in the morning have coffee and watch the sunrise. The Village has some great sights to take in as well as being a great location to drive to other areas with lots of great scenery along the way. The people in the Village are so lovely and social and make you feel like you are part of the community. There are a few local cats and they were the gentlest and sweetest and would come by for visits which was quite nice during the evenings. I highly recommend it for single travelers, couples, and or families.

The accommodation is non-smoking. The property was very easy to access from the main road around the island. Parking was available. A car is necessary but, in my opinion, a car is necessary on the island. The property had everything we needed. We were very lucky to have use of a washing machine!

The property has perfect location. It has everything one can need for a few days stay. The host - Paula - is very friendly. Check-in at night (which was important for us) went smooth and wasn't a problem. I highly recommend this place!

The location was perfect to enjoy both the city but also have a car space (there are 7 spots, one for each unit in the complex) so that you can enjoy the rest of the island too. We stayed in Apartment 3 which was listed as "superior apartment" and it had a full bedroom, huge bathroom, sofa bed and kitchen. The room smelled nice and had everything we needed for our stay. The bed was comfortable, the heat worked well, the house seemed very insulated from any outside noise (although the neighborhood was very quiet), and the outdoor areas were exceptional. Very comfortable and would stay again.

The apartment has exceeded my expectations! It was very clean and the landlord was really open with any information. He was really friendly, we were able to contact him at all times and get help with everything - even on short notice. Also, the apartment is really close to the center - supermarket, shops and bus/taxi stations are in close walking distance.
