Roomy clean and comfortable, this apartment is just a short up hill walk to the Templar Convent and in the middle of the old town. We love a good washing machine and iron and these were indeed good and easy to use. Detergent may have been provided but as we did not recognise the sachets we used our own. There was a good choice of eating and drinking places close to the apartment. Being on the main pedestrian street meant that there was some late night noise on Friday which might disturb light sleepers. The apartment is so nice that it is worth the climb to the third floor!

The couple who owned/manages the place were exceptional , friendly and professional. I booked my cab back to Lisbon Airport via an earlier booking thru internet, and they even helped me reconfirm my transportation accomodation by calling and communicating in local language with the company. They made sure that we have everything in order before they departed. The place was very clean , neat and at par with 5 star accomodations. The view from our hotel is fantastic, we could see the top of the basilica from where we were. Everything is accessible, from the restaurants, souvenir shops, and of course, the Basilica itself. Worth the money i paid.
