We had a comfortable and enjoyable stay at this stunning place. It rained throughout our short visit, but it only added to the ambience of the place. The access to delicious food at less than a kilometer away made this property all the more pleasant. Highly recommend staying here.

Punakaiki is 45 km from the apartment, while Westport is 2.9 km away. This was a wonderful private location and an awesome unit with a really brilliant bathroom. We were delighted with this place and would unhesitatingly return. The view across the golf course was really good and seemingly no one plays golf in Westport so we felt completely private even though this would not have been an issue anyhow.eat porch in the evening and very quiet at night. Communication with the owner was great. All the supplies were well stocked and there was an abundance of everything we needed.

Gary and Dawn were very helpful and took extra time to ensure that we were aware of what to expect from the cabin, what to make sure to bring, and that we were able to check in without issue. They were proactive and made extra effort to ensure a comfortable stay. They were also very quick to respond to any inquiries ahead of and throughout our stay. Check in and check out were super easy, and Gary and Dawn provided clear instructions and followed up so there was no doubt about getting in and out without issue. On chilly evenings, it felt like a luxury to be able to light a fire in the fireplace. There is also a heater if you need it, but the cabin is well-insulated enough that the cosy hut stayed warm enough through the night long after the fire went out. The kitchen is equipped with the appliances and accessories for preparing meals in the cabin. The cabin is spacious, has a full bathroom inside, and towels and linens are included. We were also surprised at how strong and fast the wifi connection is. Located in the beautiful mountain area, you can view the mountains from the cabin and on a clear night, the stars pop in the sky because it is far from light pollution. An all-around great deal for the area and a great home-base while exploring Otira and Arthur’s pass!
