The staff working there was so nice. Jon was so helpful and even let us borrow surfboards for a sunset session for free. We slept in the van and it was just perfect. Big and very nice kitchen. One of my best hostel/hotels i have ever been to. I would recommend it everyone who goes there. And just to say it one more time the host was so helpful and it was very easy to ask stuff and get in contact with him or talk to him.

At the apartment complex, the units are equipped with bed linen and towels. Very nice cabin, directly next to the water! good temperature due to the wind from the lake. Very Kind owner. There were good restaurants in the area and a cozy vibe. Even though it was a cabin with open window (no glass) we actually only saw a few small insects inside if any! It was clean and nice. Of course you come here for a different experience than a 5-star hotel, and that you get! We can really recommend it!!! It’s very special to stay here😃 Everything was as it should be and we would come again!

I definitively recommend it! I spent most of my evenings chatting with Maximo and Martha, they have values that I find beautiful. They have the heart on the hand and cares about the comfort of the hosts.

Felt like an AirBnB back home. Great location close to the surf, short 10min walk on the flat to Colorado's and 10mins to the shop in the other direction. Fully equipped for surfers with board storage area and outdoor shower. Eddie who lives there was so friendly and helpful - even gave us some of his homegrown bananas! Cannot recommend this place enough, one of our most enjoyable stays in Nicaragua

It’s a 2 bedroom downstairs in a house with a big porch. The full kitchen & bath both have hot water! There are about 8 houses on the property which is in an ideal location. Because I was a solo traveler Jan-Luc had it priced for use of only one of the bedrooms which was perfect for me. The property is surrounded by local residents which I like. There was no noise from SJDS just sounds of the surrounding neighborhood - kids playing, dogs barking, roosters & birds crowing. I actually extended my stay for almost 2 weeks. After the first week the sheets & towels were changed and the apartment was totally cleaned. Everyone was very friendly - the gardeners, the cleaning lady, the night security guard, other guests & of course, Jan-Luc. Since he lives on the property, he is very available. When I told him I had a 9 am flight out of Managua, he arranged for a taxi to pick me up at 4:30 am for a good price. The nighttime cuidador helped me meet the taxi at the front gate & the taxi driver was punctual & a safe driver.
