The apartment is in a historical building that is remodeled and has great beds, nice bathroom, super kitchen (which we didn't use to be honest because the restaurants easily within walking are great and there's a nice boulangerie about 100 yards down the street), comfy couch. Parking isn't right at the apartment, but it is close (I estimate about 300 yards) and pretty inexpensive. We loved our stay.

Direct in the town center. But very quiet as the house is behind the houses on the main road. Bicycles can be parked safe and dry. There is a small privat patio, nice in the summer. Everything is new in the apartment and you find also convenient equipment for washing a few clothes. Kitchen is ok for coocking though we did not.

There was a lockbox at the entrance to the parking/courtyard. Though as soon as we were there, someone was there to greet us and open the door anyway. They're stocked with toilet paper, soap, beds, baby beds, they've got kids' toys and games, and so on. It's clear that every time a client has asked for something in the past, Hadrian as made sure to keep the solution in place for future guests. Hadrian's family, who lives downstairs, is all super friendly as well.

There is also free parking a short walk away, but the unit it self is in the historic center of Auxerre. It is an easy walk to the river, the cathedral and the center of the old town.
