Marie was an ideal host. She was flexible about our arrival time and very responsive. There is not a better location in old center of Tours.

Located just 700 metres from Château d'Amboise, Les Charmilles features accommodation in Amboise with access to a garden, barbecue facilities, as well as bicycle parking. Clean comfortable apartment; great location in the city center with on site gated parking; friendly English-speaking owner who lives on site; well-equipped kitchen; comfortable bed and pillows; surrounded by a nice garden; everything we expected and more.

Offering inner courtyard views, Studio 2 ATELIER VINCI is an accommodation set in Amboise, 3.7 km from Amboise Train Station and 15 km from Château de Chenonceau. We were driving in France for 17 days, and this was the nicest property we stayed at. We stayed in Studio 2 and it is beautifully decorated. All the amenities are first class. Kitchen is fully equipped and the bathroom is huge with double sinks. You don’t find that very often in Europe. The bedroom is very large with lots of room to open your suitcases. The air conditioning worked well and there is plenty of natural light in the unit with windows that open if you prefer fresh air! There is a private entrance to both units. Studio 2 is on the top floor and there is a staircase to access it. The two units share a sun-room full of tourism pamphlets on the Loire Valley attractions and restaurant suggestions. Private parking is included. Atelier Vinci is in a residential area, and is approximately 2.5 km from the downtown core. We had a car, so this was no issue for us. Also, Amboise offers plenty of parking near the core, on the riverfront. We would zip down for supper. For restaurants, we recommend advanced reservations for the top rated restaurants, because many are tiny and fill up quickly. For those who would rather wander, there are plenty of other restaurants to choose from where reservations are not needed. Amboise is the place to stay in the Loire Valley. It is smaller and much easier to negotiate. Thanks Gregory and Lea for being such wonderful hosts!

Appartement deux pièces - coeur de ville quartier cathédrale in Tours features accommodation with free WiFi, less than 1 km from Tours Train Station, a 7-minute walk from Hotel Goüin Museum and 1.1 km... We liked the location near the pedestrian boulevard, the parking lot is across the street but you have to add time/money 2h at a time to get the best rate, then it is free at night. The place was very clean and organized, we had no issues with our stay.

Situated in Tours, 1.3 km from Parc des Expositions Tours, ty-yan features accommodation with a garden, free WiFi and bicycle parking. The garden!!! It is a little paradise, you hear the birds , see the stars at night. The host, she was so nice and welcoming and very helpful.

Offering garden views, Arlequin is an accommodation set in Amboise, 3.1 km from Clos Lucé Mansion and 3.5 km from Amboise Train Station. The house was very roomy and comfortable , the host was very friendly and lovely , introduced all the must go and see . Easy parking. The cute fat cat also says morning to me.

La maison du philosophe has city views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Amboise, 600 metres from Château d'Amboise. The location of the apartment was amazing, the size of the apartment and quality of the furnishings were fantastic, and the hosts were incredibly communicative and responsive. We very much appreciated being able to check in early, and their help with arranging a taxi was great. The welcome bottle of sparkling wine and bag of locally made cookies were very nice touches. The washing machine was very handy. The apartment is a great value for all these reasons and more, and we would stay in the apartment again in a heartbeat.

Offering city views, Les Beaux Jours, Tours is an accommodation located in Tours, less than 1 km from Tours Train Station and a 19-minute walk from Hotel Goüin Museum. Spotlessly clean, bright and airy studio. Pascale has provided a home from home environment. A very warm and welcoming host who made sure the apartment is of a high standard. A wonderful breakfast was provided with home made jams, organic bread and juice.

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Brume de Loire is an apartment set in a historic building in Bourgueil, 6.1 km from Chateau des Réaux. Fantastic properties. Very clean and everything one needs to cook. We had the top property which is very pretty. We were staying during the heatwave and there were a couple of fans which helped. Shops are only a short walk from the property. Free on the street parking. We always found a spot nearby.
