Particularly the bathroom had plenty of room and it also had two doorways, which was convenient as we were three people in two separate rooms. 5th floor was very quiet and the street beneath windows was fairly small an quiet. The major benefit was the central location.

Lovely hotel between the longest stretch of wall remaining and the river. Easy to walk to Kreutzburg with its great restaurants. Can walk to ALexanderplatz, Under den Linden etc in about 45 mins, or it's 10 mins to the S-bahn so super convenient. Lovely friendly staff at reception - nothing too much trouble for them. They made us feel very welcome at all times. Great 'welcome pack' of washing up stuff, tea, coffee and some milk. It was great to be able to get more tea whenever we needed it. The room was spotless, very comfy and spacious. Small but well-equipped kitchen, large shower room and great floor to ceiling windows for views and light. It was convenient to have a bar downstairs with outside and inside seating - but a shame they don't provide German beers there! It was also great value to pay just 10 euros for a late checkout.

Despite being close to the city center, the area around the apartment was surprisingly quiet. One of the highlights of our stay was the hospitality of the host. He provided us with great recommendations for local places to visit, eat, and explore. Thanks to his insights, we discovered hidden gems in the city that we wouldn't have found on our own.

Nice location right by the Wall paintings sections and just a short walk away from S-bahn station. Large parking garages in the next building over.
