We stayed for 2 nights, because my son was sick we couldn't travel further. The host came the 2nd day to renew towels and toilet paper. He was friendly.
The studio itself is good, with seperate shower, fridge, airco and TV with Netflix. There is a kitchen, but not enough kitchenware to be able to properly cook (no knifes or forks,...). No cleaning supplies or towel to do the dishes. Ask the host where to put on the electricity, there is no information or explanation anywhere in the room itself.

My stay was a delightful surprise. Located in the serene outskirts of Hưng Yên, just outside of Hanoi, it offers a perfect blend of modern convenience and tranquil escape. The apartment was exactly like the pictures posted online. I was impressed by the modern amenities, thoughtful touches throughout the apartment, and its cleanliness.
From the well-equipped kitchen with everything you need for cooking and eating, to the cozy living room in a modern, minimalist style, and the spacious bedroom, every aspect of the accommodation exuded warmth and comfort. The traditional Japanese-style table and chairs add an authentic touch to the decor but also invite guests to immerse themselves in a unique dining experience. The bedroom is spacious, with a window seat and bookcases on each side providing a cozy spot for enjoying the stunning view or reading a book, while the balcony, accessible through sliding glass doors in the living room, adds to the feeling of spaciousness and light. The satellite flat-screen TV and high-speed Wi-Fi allow for both entertainment and connectivity. Whether you are catching up on your e-mails or planning your next adventure, the desk area, located near the bedroom, provides a well-lit and comfortable workspace. The bathroom is modern, with a walk-in shower and toilet and hot water is available. The 2-way air conditioners, one in the bedroom and another in the living room, allow for controlling the temperature in each space, and they were working perfectly well. The washing machine and tumble dryer are very convenient for long stays or if you travel light. The on-site minimarkets are handy for buying essentials, and there is also a playground with a basketball court as well, making it an ideal place for families and sporty people.
A big thanks to the friendly hosts whose level of attentiveness and genuine interest are much appreciated, and communication with them was excellent. They went above and beyond to ensure a smooth arrival and stay.

We returned twice to May's residence and stayed in two different apartments. Both are spacious and offer a kitchenette, strong AC, large beds and comfy couches, and a desk to work on. One of the apartments had a bathtub, the other a walk-in shower should you have a preference for either. Wifi was also strong and reliable, which makes May residence a formidable choice for digital nomads. Light cleaning and laundry service was offered, and we could also utilise the washing machine, which is a big plus for longer stays. Filtered water was generously provided throughout our stay, and there is free use of bikes The host, Mrs. Thao and her two adult children are exceptional and attentive hosts, who all speak English fluently. They immediately responded to any inquiries and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Check-in and check-out was easy. The apartment is located in a large multi-apartment home in an alley, thus not facing major noisy streets and consequently fairly quiet. We mostly commuted by Grab, a ride to the Old Town taking about 10 minutes. We also enjoyed the neighbourhood, as non-touristy (apart from the small restaurant visited by Bourdain & Obama) and with loads of eateries, a French boulangerie with heavenly baguettes and croissants, banks, supermarkets etc all in walking distance. We would definitely return if in Hanoi again. Highly recommend.
